To our great guild,
I wanted to open by saying it's a pleasure to be a part of a group of friends and family that all share a common social bond that helps us keep in touch, hang out and have fun.
I'm thrilled and proud to say our guild has seen the second wing of the newest content, Icecrown Citadel, and has downed the first boss in the hardest content, the Trial of the Grand Crusader. But that is the least of our accomplishments.
The true "Achievement" that everyone has earned is the camaraderie I see every day, and that is what I'm here to encourage.
This site will facilitate a greater level of interaction with one another, even if we aren't online at the same time.
On top of that, we have created a new email address that will allow anyone to contact us more reliably and without the limitations of the in game WoW mail system. The email address will be posted in both Guild Information Tabs.
This email address will be checked by the leaders of the guild. If you wish to address a specific leader, please include their name as the first word in the subject line.
Also, we've decided on a new direction for raiding.
The following can and might change, based on the feedback that you are now able to give us at your convenience through comments and emails:
1. Tuesday and Saturday nights will be spent in 10 man content with guildies that want to raid but feel they need more practice or gear. We will cover appropriate content and better geared players will step back for those that could use more attention.
2. Wednesday night seems to be our most active night. So I'd like to start forming a 25 man raid every Wednesday night. We have plenty of raiders who want to do this, but can't seem to get them all on at the same time, so Wednesday will be the first day we'll try to make it happen.
3. Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday will be used by those that wish to explore the groundbreaking content. The raid group will be formed Thursday evening based on attendance and continue each of the following nights giving priority to saved members. However, if there becomes a need to create a rotating schedule before we are ready to begin two 10 mans/a 25 man exploring new content, then we will adjust.
For those not interested in raiding, or unable to raid due to job, school or other restrictions, I'd love to see your comments about what else you'd like to see the guild doing. If we find we have a large base of PvPers, we'll start organizing events for PvP and building arena teams. We can even have old world nights, or achievement runs.
All these things are possible, but Leorihk(GM of BOotD) and I(GM of WGW) need your help to make them happen.
At that, I will leave you with my words on your minds and await your responses.
Truly yours,
-Kyle (Jehryn/DeathDrow)
