We are going to have three changes to our raiding starting Tuesday of next week, March 9th.
1. We are going to stop having a 25 man night on Wednesday until we get two full 10 ICC groups going. We will start 10 ICC on Wed. instead of Thurs. to get more time in the dungeon and increase our chances of getting two groups inside.
2. We are going to move the raid times forward half an hour. So invites will go out at 7server and we will have the first pull by 7:30 server. Raids will end at 10:30 server.
3. Lastly, we are going to start a new system to determine and boost raid attendance:
The new system will grant 'points' or 'weight' to those that are on time to raid.
The more ICC raids you attend, the more points you get.
Each time you are present at the time of the raid, you get a point.
In other words, even if you are not selected to go into the raid, if you show up on time ready to raid you will be rewarded with a better chance to get in next time.
On time means: Logging in and letting the raid leader know you are ready to raid when the guild request for PSTs is givin between 7 and 7:30 server time.
Each time you are brought into the raid you lose a point.
This way, those that don't get in one week, will have a better chance of getting in the next week.
If you are selected to go into ICC on Wed. the first night, all your points will be cleared.
This will prevent anyone from acculmulating to many points.
If you come in on a night other than wed. you only lose one point. This way you are not penalized for being on standby.
On wed. the priority for getting into ICC will be slot based as it is now:
2 tanks
2 heals
3 melee
3 ranged
*exceptions may come up, we will handle those as the appear*
If there are more than that number in a slot, those with higher point totals will be taken.
If there are ties for points, then a roll will determine who comes.
On any other day, those that are saved will get priority, and those that came in as standbys will get
secondary priority (since they are saved though they didn't use all their points on Wed.)
Then points will determine priority for those not saved, and ties will be broken by rolls.
Only ICC will accumulate or use your points, we will still use straight rolls for the weekly and other raids.
Raid leaders will be responsible for reporting attendance to either Jehryn or Franticboom.
Point totals are not private, if you wish to know how many points you have, please ask :)
If you have any questions, please ask either Jehryn or Franticboom about the details.
